About us
AWS User Group Davao is a volunteer-run community for anyone curious about the cloud — students, career-shifters, and seasoned engineers alike. We're part of the global AWS User Groups network, based right here in the Durian Capital.
We exist so no one in Davao has to learn the cloud alone. We meet every month to share what we’re building, run hands-on workshops, and help each other toward AWS certifications and cloud careers — always free, always welcoming.
What we do
Monthly meetups
Community talks and demos on the second Saturday of each month — plus the coffee, connections, and questions that make showing up in person worth it.
Hands-on workshops
Guided labs on serverless, containers, security, data, and generative AI. Bring a laptop; leave having deployed something real on AWS.
Study jams & certs
Structured, cohort-based study toward AWS certifications — with practice credits, mock exams, and a group that keeps you accountable.
Mentorship & careers
Career panels, résumé help, and a network of professionals opening doors to internships and cloud roles across Mindanao and beyond.
